Solace in a bottle bottle in your hand yes it might be risky but your head is in the sand stepping out is easy it's what you always do it's broken into pieces the finger points at you one more time It's just an endless cycle pushing through the grind a little speck of substance try to ease the mind when was this not there? what then did you see? how was your perception? why does it have to be? one more time On the brink of falling the wind will have its' way relief is always weightless and bottom the price to pay could be done tommorrow this might just be your last I see its' grip has scarred you the Simian spell's been cast one more time

Stages 03:45
Surrounded by all of these thoughts constantly competing in my head just can't seem to slow it down I'm passing through the stages Feels like I'm sinking inside I struggle to pull myself from the quicksand in my mind I'm passing through the stages pushing for some changes I try to break free from it all need to let it go, let it go the inner battle for my soul I'm passing through the stages Drowning in all of these thoughts constantly swimming in my head just can't seem to slow it down I'm passing through the stages keep pushing for some changes

Two weeks into summer and the Kid's already bored he'd like that new bike in the store that he really can't afford Nintendo and Nick at Night they don't cut it anymore he's starin' at the ceiling while he's lying on the floor Got a sling shot and some bb's gonna clean up this here town he's sick of the dogs livin' down the street always tryin' to chase him down all he wants to do is ride his bike and do his paper route but it's hard to laugh with all that crap Kid's got a permanent pout What you gonna do today Kid Courageous? "gonna be some hell to pay" says, Kid Courageous Little girl next door, can't stand her guts she thinks her stuff's so hot he flips her off, she tells his mom he hates that little snot but one fine day, it's gonna feel so good gonna catch her out steppin' gonna pull it right out, lock and load and sting her with his weapon And then there's mister wedgy boy he can't leave the Kid alone always pullin the Kid's wears up too high and crushin' his precious stones and all those kids at school who think their all cool with big bucks on their feet but if he gets a chance and see's them out he's gonna make 'em dance in the street What you gonna do today Kid Courageous? "gonna be some hell to pay" says, Kid Courageous All alone in the bushes waiting for the wedgy boy to pass gonna get some satisfaction when there's buckshot in his ass The legs are gettin' numb, hope he can still run when the wedgy boy gets his due but wait! that's him there, he can't believe his luck he's with that little girl too He loads his piece and draws it back he's just about to let go he thinks twice about it, forget about it the Kid gets up real slow What you gonna do today Kid Courageous? "gonna be some hell to pay" says, Kid Courageous what you gonna do today Kid Courageous? "maybe some other day" says, Kid Courageous

Supplication 04:52
Sometimes that's how it goes when an angel doesn’t make it there on time I guess it really shows how often we can only hold the line We try to convince ourselves of the lies we tell ourselves is there still a heart to break? what remains? you have to hold on to what you’ve got while they slowly pull your fingers apart and take it from your hands Through these walls I scream your name I want to run, but desperation has its ways I’m just a broken man as I wait alone, please don’t be so far from me You have to hold on to what you’ve got while they slowly pull your fingers apart and take it from your hands

Sometimes when I'm led astray I need a light to guide me home like a stranger in a foreign land with no place to call my own as I stand, I'm about to break into pieces you keep me whole this breath I don't need to take just wrap me in Your soul When I had nothing to my name You gave me shelter from the rain when everything comes unchained, and through the change, You vowed to stay the same You wrap me in Your soul If the sun should shine no more and darkness prevails the days remember I will heed the call knowing there will be a dawn and when this earth shall pass away, and the children have all come home would You leave a place for me? And wrap me in Your soul
